Why this exists
Back-to-school shopping is harder than it needs to be. A family with three kids can end up with three different lists, sent home at three different times, pointing at three different stores. Someone loses the paper. Someone buys college-ruled instead of wide-ruled. Someone shows up on the first day missing half the list.
The fix isn't complicated: one clear list per grade, shared by every teacher, with each item a click away for anyone who'd rather not fight the crowd in an aisle.

Where our information comes from
Our school directory is built from the National Center for Education Statistics, the federal source for U.S. school data. That's why nearly every public school in the country already has a page here, with its grade levels ready to go.
Supply lists start as sensible defaults for each grade — real quantities, real notes, the kind of list most classrooms use. As teachers and administrators publish their own, those defaults get replaced by the actual lists for that school.
