Why the lists are the same for every teacher in a grade
Most supply-list frustration isn't about the supplies. It's that one teacher asks for a specific brand of marker from one store and the teacher next door asks for something slightly different from another. Parents with two kids end up making two trips.
Setting the list at the grade level fixes that. Teachers still get what they need, families buy once, and everyone's working from the same page.
